| EGÉTICA - EXPOENERGÉTICA, A NEW LARGE ENERGY FAIR WITH POTENTIAL TO BECOME AN INTERNATIONAL REFERENCE. |

With recent agreements between Feria Valencia, organiser of EGÉTICA and Five Continents Exhibitions, organiser of EXPOENERGÉTICA, the International Week for Renewable and Conventional Energies and Platform for Energy Efficiency and Technologic Innovation EGÉTICA – EXPOENERGÉTICA is born. The first edition will be held in Valencia, Spain, in November 2009. EGÉTICA - EXPOENERGÉTICA reflects the dynamic change taking place in the energy sectors, which throughout the world are living a period of profound restructuring with innumerable opportunities for economic growth. The international energy sectors will benefit from the synergies arising from the merger of the EGÉTICA and the EXPOENERGÉTICA fairs, which both recently were successfully held at the Valencia Fair. The new event will more than double the exhibition area and number of visitors, in the previous fairs representing more than 50 countries. The Valencia Fair’s state-of-the-art facilities will be the venue for the yearly EGÉTICA – EXPOENERGÉTICA event, with the capacity to turn Valencia into the focal point of the international energy sector, where companies will be present to make business and to learn about the latest market trends. With this aim, a comprehensive high level conference programme is being prepared covering among other the perspective and challenges for the future energy supply. In parallel a number of associated events will take place including the EcoConstruction show with focus on energy efficiency and sustainability in construction and urbanism, and the Ecological Transport and Movement show with focus on energy efficiency and savings in this sector.
